Every year we enjoy buying party poppers for our kids, and releasing them just after the ball drops at midnight with the cousins where we spend New Year’s Eve and party it up. Usually, at 11:55pm we are scrambling to get them all out of the packages and divided equally between eleven kids so that we don’t miss the moment. This year, I think it would be a lot of fun to dress them up fancy like with pretty party labels. That means I have to actually be prepared.
The reason I think my sister’s and I love this tradition with our kids is because of Mimmie. Mimmie is my grandmother, and she lived with us for a few years growing up. She passed away when my oldest was still just a baby. Every New Year’s Eve, Mimmie would step out onto the little deck just off of her bedroom and make a huge racket. If we got them for her, she would light fire crackers. If we didn’t have anything, she would bang pans together! And of course, we all got in the act too. It was a way to celebrate a new beginning. Starting fresh.
Nowadays, in many places fire crackers are not even legal and in any case, the confetti poppers are easier to get and a tad safer for our little kids. But they still add sparkle and excitement (and racket) to the end of New Year’s Eve. So I found someone to make printable party popper labels and of course, I’m going to share the labels I’ve had made with you! Our free printable New Year’s Eve party poppers labels will make the perfect finishing touch to your New Year’s Eve festivities.
To make our super fun party popper labels you are going to need to print the PDF file included in this blog post on full sheet sticker paper. Click the link at the end of the post to get your free printable download. Remove the store brand labels from the party poppers. Then you will cut apart the party popper labels you’ve printed and affix one sticker to each party popper.
